The Amazing War Stories Book Club

Every month we are going to recommend books that we think all self-confessed military history lovers like us should have read. We have started this Book Club recommendation list because we wanted to share with the fans of Amazing War Stories some of the titles that have inspired us when it comes to researching our stories. You can purchase every book we recommend by clicking the link below.

In interests of full transparency, clicking the link below will send you to the Amazon site, where you can purchase the book directly (we don’t have enough room to physically store and sell the books ourselves). By purchasing the book through our link we do receive a small commission – however, this doesn’t mean money is taken away from the author rather it’s a commission paid to us by Amazon and, importantly, it doesn’t affect the price you pay. We want to reassure you it’s the same price whether you purchase it direct through their site or through our link, except if you buy it through us, we get some funding.

As you know, every purchase you make on Amazing War Stories.com goes directly towards making more content that supports military museums and veterans charities – so you can feel good about yourself.

THIS MONTH”S RECOMMENDATION

This month we’re pointing you towards a fabulous book about George Jellicoe – hero of our podcast The Hitmen of Heraklion.

Written by his son Nicholas, the book gives an incredible insight into one of Britain’s most amazing individuals.

Please click the button below to purchase the book – happy reading!
