The Tank Museum thunders in with their support…
The Tank Museum is backing Bruce’s Amazing War Stories initiative to celebrate our military heritage.
This world-famous museum is home to the Royal Tank Museum and Royal Armoured Corps and tells the story of the tank and those that served with them.
Fans of Bruce will be aware of his long association with the Dorset based institution.
He said; “The Tank Museum holds a special place in my heart. I have restored several tanks in my lifetime, driven in many, and visited rare, armoured specimens all around the world.
“However, I believe there is no finer place on this planet to see all things tank related than at this museum.
“I have been a massive supporter as long as I can remember and try to make the yearly pilgrimage to TankFest whenever I can.
“We are thrilled to have their endorsement and, to show our commitment in return, we have a produced a really unique related podcast about a famous WW2 Sherman tank crew, coming soon.”
The Tank Museum Director, Richard Smith said; “Bruce has supported The Tank Museum in many ways over the years, and we’re pleased to be backing this project for its goal to support military museums through raising awareness of their collections and the amazing stories they tell.”
“Museums have been under huge pressure in recent years– and this project will help potential new visitors discover the many Military Museums across the country, whose moving and powerful human stories deserve to be appreciated by a wider audience.”
