Amazing War Stories launches printed Museum Guide

We’ve gone and done it – yes a printed Military Museum Guide to accompany our digital version. We’ve teamed up with the publishers of Britain at War and Classic Military Vehicles, two of the world’s biggest selling military history magazines, to produce this exclusive guide. It will appear as a pull out in the March editions of these magazines – both of which will be available in all good retailers around the country including W.H.Smiths.

If you don’t already read it, Britain at War magazine is an absolute gem for history enthusiasts and military buffs alike. With its comprehensive coverage of our wartime past, every issue is a captivating journey through the annals of history. From in-depth articles shedding light on lesser-known battles to riveting accounts of heroism on the front lines, this magazine truly brings the past to life.

What sets Britain at War apart, in our opinion, is its meticulous attention to detail and commitment to authenticity. The wealth of firsthand accounts, rare photographs, and expert analysis ensures that readers are treated to a rich and immersive experience with each turn of the page. It’s a perfect complement to Amazing War Stories. The March edition of BAW comes out on the Thursday 28th.

On the other hand, Classic Military Vehicle magazine is a must-have for anyone with a passion for military history and vintage machinery – as you can imagine we devour both here at Amazing War Stories HQ! Each issue is packed with in-depth features, captivating tales and stunning photography that brings the golden age of military vehicles to life. Not only that, we have to hold our hands up and own up to being biased – we do have a monthly column tucked away in each issue. So if you want to find out what project Bruce is working on next – this is the place to read all about it. The March edition of CMV comes out on Thursday 21st 2024.

So, as you can imagine, we’re really excited about this, and hope that it will be the first of many. Inside our guide are listings for many of the UK’s best military museums, but we’ve also added lots of international museums too. There’s contact details, opening times and addresses for you, plus lots of great pictures of rare artefacts.

Not only that, we’ve also included a handy 2024 Military Events Guide which provides all the latest dates for some of the major shows both here and abroad. The ambition is for this to grow, and we’ll continue to add museums and events not only in this country, but also for others around the world.

To celebrate this, we’re able to offer an EXCLUSIVE 10% off card subscription rates for both magazines.
